Elastic waist skirt offered in three styles - mid-knee, mid-calf and mid-calf with triangular inserts at hem. Guaranteed fit with unique sizing adaptable to any fiture. Smooth across hips with lower flare and seaming detail. For those with a serger, construction options included exposed seams between gores, finished with thread to blend or contract fabric and a simple serged dlower edge in place of hemming. You can also just finish interior seams and turn up a small hem to finish.
Skirt is sized from XXS to SSL or you can adjust to fit your figure. To figure your size use a tape measure to measure the widest part of your hips and add 1/2" to 1" for ease. This is the measurement you will use to determine the number of panels needed for your skirt.
You can cut the following number of panels from a yard of fabric:
View A - 1 yard will give you 5 panels
1/3 yard supplies inserts for four center panels (1 yard = 12 panels)
View B and D - 3/4 of a yard will give you three panels
View C - 1 yard will give you four panels

40" - 10 panels
44" - 11 panels
48" - 12 panels
52" - 13 panels
View A and C
34 1/2" - 12 panels
37 3/8" - 13 panels
40 1/4" - 14 panels
43 1/8" - 15 panels
46" - 16 panels
48 7/8 - 17 panels
If you need to add or subtract from any of the above measurements please note:
Each panel for View A and C will add 2-7/8" when finished with 5/8" seam
Each panel for View B and D will add 4" with a 5/8" seam.
